My name is James Preston, and I like writing music. I also enjoy recording songs other people have written - so if you've written a song and fancy a laugh then I'll record it for you. Don't expect mainstream quality though (you should've heard the sort of quality I can reach by now) as I don't own a ten thousand pound recording studio, nor a twenty thousand pound mastering studio. Nor do I have any money to actually rent studio time - so I'm stuck with bits and pieces of equipment I've begged, borrowed or stolen from various suckers...er...friends. This year I'll be wandering off to Derby to go study Music Technology and Audio Systems Design at University - so that should be fun. I'm gonna keep the site running though, and I expect hundreds of visits from you all every day of the year! And here I thought I'd mention a few bands/artists that I like, f'utt laff - (in no particullar order) Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, The Brian Setzer Orchestra, Skunk Anansie, Blink 182, Cherry Poppin' Daddies, Save Ferris, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Garbage, Gretchen Lieberum, Morcheeba, Less Than Jake, Recoil (boo hiss! :) Killer Gorilla, and Rowly's band (something about having a frontal lobotomy was it?)
